The Cherry Brandy Sweater - 1980's

Barbara Smith has kindly sent me the image below of a sweater  for De Kuyper Cherry Brandy by Wendy Wools.  Obviously a Promotional sweater this does not appear in our archive anywhere so it is always lovely to hear from Barbara and what gem she has found next!

Knit Today - Issue 79

The latest issue of Knit Today is out and on pages 50-51 there is a lovely design by Val Pierce.

The childrens design is for sleigh Bell slippers knitted in Wendy Norse Chunky yarn in shades 2700 Drift, 2704 Bergen and 2707 Greig.  These are perfect little snuggle slippers to fit a 5-6 year old.  However they could easily be knitted for little boys in darker shades in Norse.  Sorry no image you will have to buy the magazine.....

There is also a Christmas Knits pullout which features our Twilleys of Stamford Goldfingering yarn which is always popular but especially at Christmas time.

Chic and Yeti Scarf Yarns

Wendy Chic now has a link to a free scarf pattern.  This yarn produces a splendour of colour richly enhanced by a subtle radiance and comes in 9 very attractive shades.
