Graduate Showcase - Claire Nixon - Huddersfield University

Designer/Maker in Hand Knitted Fabrics

Claire Nixon came to Thomas Ramsden for a years placement from Huddersfield University.

Using Serenity Super Chunky in Cream within her Final Collection it was an impressive show.

Claire has achieved a 1st Class degree and we wish her all the best with her future career.

We get a mention at the very end for helping out with emergency yarn and the lovely green Tinsel (gas) on Venus.  Wish I had been there it looked like a fabulous event.

Fiesta Bag using our Wendy Supreme Cotton DK on pages 22-23.  Shades required are 1x Aqua, 2 x Sunflower, and 1 x Lime, Raspberry and Beet - this is a perfect multicoloured striped edition to your summer wardrobe.  Knitted in the round and worked in one piece up to the straps this means very little sewing up required.
