We have two new super design leaflets (by a local designer) in crochet.  These can be crocheted in any Wendy or Peter Pan DK for that special person in your life and would make perfect Christmas presents.  The leaflets show them crocheted in Wendy Mode.

All of you with children will understand the appeal of Postman Pat but I have in the past found myself singing along to a tape (yes tape cassette)  in the car and then remembered my daughters weren't actually in the car so I could (should) have been listening to grown up music!!

We do have one of the wonderful knitted Pats above in the Thomas B Ramsden reception taking pride and place.

Barbara Smith has kindly sent me the image below of a sweater  for De Kuyper Cherry Brandy by Wendy Wools.  Obviously a Promotional sweater this does not appear in our archive anywhere so it is always lovely to hear from Barbara and what gem she has found next!

Knit Today - Issue 79

The latest issue of Knit Today is out and on pages 50-51 there is a lovely design by Val Pierce.

The childrens design is for sleigh Bell slippers knitted in Wendy Norse Chunky yarn in shades 2700 Drift, 2704 Bergen and 2707 Greig.  These are perfect little snuggle slippers to fit a 5-6 year old.  However they could easily be knitted for little boys in darker shades in Norse.  Sorry no image you will have to buy the magazine.....

There is also a Christmas Knits pullout which features our Twilleys of Stamford Goldfingering yarn which is always popular but especially at Christmas time.
