Peter Pan "Sweet heart" - SNEAK PEAK

We have just had a very successful ICHF (International Craft & Hobby Fair) at the NEC in Birmingham.  We launched our new Peter Pan "Sweet heart" cotton soft yarn and all the new designs were very well received.   These will shortly be on our website but I thought I would put a "tease" on the Blog.

This yarn comes in 8 new shades and the designs range from cardigans (one with ears on the hood), an embroidered dress and sweaters.  My favourite is the adorable bunny sweater below.  Perfect Easter present for that little someone special.

Menswear - treat him to a cardigan

Alot of the High Street Stores have mens aran cardigans (picture below) price tag around £40 plus. 

Why not knit one for that special someone you know - or he could knit it himself?  Here at Thomas Ramsdens we have a large selection of designs to choose.  One favourite is from our Family Aran booklet 322 which is a unisex cardigan.

Knit in Wendy Aran the largest size 115cm (46inch) takes 3 balls of yarn (rrp from £7.99).  This is still considerably cheaper than most high street stores but with the added quality of the yarn and being hand crafted.

Summer Trends

I have been looking on the Vogue.it http://www.vogue.it/en/trends/trend-of-the-day/2010/12/summer-knitwear website at trends.  It mentions twin sets - if you look at our lovely Summer Collection you will see a perfect set to knit in our Wendy Sorrento dk.  It is a cami and bolero "set" which would look lovely with a long silky skirt or with linen trousers.  If you were packing for a holiday the bolero top would be ideal with a long maxi dress for the evening.  So what are you waiting for - get knitting.

"The Summer Collection"

Our new booklet 343 "The Summer Collection" features Sorrento dk and Supreme Cotton dk with 10 super designs.  Two of these are for children - Design 4 is a unisex hooded cardigan and Design 5 is a girls cardigan with or without a collar.  All designs within the booklet are knitted in dk and offer a good variety of styles.

We have 8 new shades in Wendy Supreme of which 3 are Marls and my favourites are Beet, Cloves and Slate (I can't choose one!)
