Freedom Sincere - Book 470 & Leaflets

We have a fabulous new Book 470 from Freedom Sincere which includes 12 designs to suit all the family.  This highlights two new shades 623 Strawberry and 624 Blueberry. 

Designs include ladies waistcoat, mesh stripe cardigan, man's jacket with cable panels, children's jackets, sweaters, bolero, baby boots, cabled & textured blanket plus Octopus toy altogether a superb variety within the book.

There are also four new leaflet 9169-72 available now.

ECHO "eco" DK yarn - Twilleys of Stamford

Twilleys of Stamford launched their new "eco" yarn called ECHO at our Christmas Conference.  This yarn is made from recycled denim and cotton and comes in 5 shades.  The message on the label is recycling - reducing - reusing.

There are 6 new support design leaflets, including a man's jacket and a super Union Flag Bag in celebration of 2012.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

During our Christmas Conference we launched the new Supreme Cotton Chunky yarn which has wonderful support designs ready for Spring/Summer.  This yarn comes in eight shades and will be on the website shortly.  (We have had a few technical difficulties uploading information recently on the website so please bear with us!)

Vintage Knitting

Our super Vintage Knits 335 Booklet is a must for all those people who love good quality vintage designs. 

We are really lucky here with our huge archive of patterns dating back, we believe, pre-war (alot are undated).  I especially love the ones from the 1930's and 1940's but the retro ones are equally as appealing.

How times have changed!

A couple of months ago a lady called Mrs Lane very kindly offered to send me the attached Twilleys of Stamford pattern .  She was clearing out her attic and hoping to contribute to our fabulous archive we have here.  As you can see it is for a knitted health vest in Twilleys' No. 1.

Unfortunately I never received the package - lost in transit - but I thought I would just show it for posterity!

A huge thank you to Mrs Lane and we are only sorry we never received it.
