Sleeves - Cast on 50(50, 54, 58, 60) sts.
Work in K2, P2 rib as given for back. Inc 1 st at end of last row.

Using 6 ½mm needles, cast on 21 sts.
9th row - [K1, P1] twice, K1, P3, K2, MB, K2, P3, [K1, P1] twice, K1
MITTENS
RIGHT
3rd Row – P6, K5, P17.
13th row – P6, C5B, P17.
14th row – as 2nd row.
15th row – P6, K5, P4, place remaining 13 sts on a holder, turn and work on 15 sts only.
20th row – as 16th row.
Put 15 sts just worked on a second holder and rejoin yarn to other 13 sts left on first holder.
Work in reverse st st for 5 rows.
Thumb hole made.
Put all 28 sts on a holder.
** Pick up 8 sts across thumb hole.
Rejoin yarn to 28 sts left on holder.
 
LEFT
Work rib as given for right mitten
1st row – K1, M1, [K4, M1] five times, K1. 28 sts.
15th row – Slip first 13 sts onto a holder then P4, K5, P6 (work on these 13 sts only).
16th row – K6, P5, K4.
17th row – P4, K2, MB, K2, P6.
19th row – P4, K5, P6.
20th row – as 16th row.
Put 15 sts just worked onto a second holder and rejoin yarn to other 13 sts left on a holder.
Put all 28 sts on a holder.
Work from ** to *** on right mitten.
Rejoin yarn to 28 sts left on holder.
1st row – P17, C5B, P6.
3rd row – P15, K5, P6.
7th row – as 3rd row.
9th row – P1, P2tog, P6, P2tog, P1, P2tog, P3, C5B, P3, P2tog, P1. 24 sts
15th row – P1, P2tog, P2, P2tog, P1, P2tog, P1, K5, P1, P2tog, P1.

  2. Hi Sonja - have you looked at on-line retailers? also we have just had some of our reps over in the US and hopefully I will be in contact with a few knitting magazines supplying patterns etc I will post it once it happens. But thank you. CarolAnn
